UN-INSTRAW and UNDP present this global series on gender, remittances and development in order to contribute to the facilitation of better policies and practices which incorporate the needs and contributions of migrant women, their households and communities into development agendas that ensure gender responsive local development and sustainable livelihoods and futures. This case study research examines the gender dimensions of migration and remittances in the context of Albania and the destination country of Greece.
