Abstract
An approach to the design of display controller macrocells for embedded systems is described. This is based on algorithm modelling in a Win32 based framework that allows the rapid evaluation of algorithms for display processing and the assessment of hardware and software resource implications. The paper outlines the implementation design and some application examples.
