Notes

The paper uses the multi-level governance approach of multiple geographical tiers of political organisation to assess progress towards renewable energy. Basing itself on the complexity of the renewable energy system¿ in conjunction with regional UK data, the paper makes a policy plea for a middle way between the current structured and unstructured forms of multi-level governance, through more effective devolution to regions.
