Notes
This paper has contributed significantly to shaping the emerging debated analysis of the role of systematic review in social work. Commended at peer review as an impressive piece of work, it substantially advances knowledge in this field. It gives a comprehensive account of research conducted to rigorous standards, and draws on this to interrogate the nature and quality of evidence for social work policy-makers, practitioners, researchers and educators. Along with companion papers theorising the relationship between law and social work, it informs the work of an international network of researchers exploring the nature of that relationship in diverse national contexts.Full text available
