Notes

Creative Documentary : theory and practice explores and investigates the multifaceted relationship between theory and practice that informs a critical documentary practice. This the first book that is written from a position between theory and practice and should be seen as an intervention in the field of theorisation, and contextualisation of documentary practice . My AHRC grant enabled me to do the research with a variety of people in the documentary field aas well as broadcasters , funders and distributors. Some of the interviews have been included in the book. Most research data has been integrated in the relevant chapters.
