Notes

I have been the main provider of ion beam analysis facilities (Backscattering Spectrometry, Particle Induced X-ray Analysis, Nuclear Reaction Analysis) for highly toxic and radioactive substrates from the Joint European Torus, the largest fusion experiment in the world. As such I provide one of principal analytical services for erosion, deposition, and hydrogen isotope retention research. Tracking these issues within the torus, is critical for development of reactors for power generation. Results aid vital materials development for the ITER prototype reactor and have fostered several international collaborations and publications.
