It's a gas! Mass-analyzed threshold ionization (MATI) spectroscopy provides high-resolution ionization potentials and low-energy vibrational frequencies of individual conformers of jet-cooled [(¿6-PhMe)2Cr]. The signals arising from distinct structural isomers were identified on the basis of DFT calculations and comparison of the [(¿6-PhMe) 2Cr] and [(¿6-1,3-Me2C6H 4)(¿6-PhH)Cr] spectra (see picture). © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
