posted on 2023-06-08, 13:58 authored by Michael TarziMichael Tarzi, S Grigoriadou, S B Carr, L M Kuitert, H J LonghurstThe sinopulmonary tract is the major site of infection in patients with primary antibody deficiency syndromes, and structural lung damage arising from repeated sepsis is a major determinant of morbidity and mortality. Patients with common variable immunodeficiency may, in addition, develop inflammatory lung disease, often associated with multi-system granulomatous disease. This review discusses the presentation and management of lung disease in patients with primary antibody deficiency
