Promoting stakeholders: interests in the unique Chinese corporate governance model: more socially responsible corporations?

Calls for the improvement of corporate governance measures in China to coincide with the opening up of the Chinese economy. Considers corporate social responsibility (CSR) in China and how the interests of stakeholders can be protected in the long-term interests of the company. Reviews different corporate governance models, the extent of employee participation in Chinese companies, the public regulation of CSR, and the impact of Chinese corporate scandals on the future for CSR in China.
