Examines the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Considers the nature and scope of directors' duties to creditors while a company is solvent and the continuing obligations owed to both creditors and stakeholders during a formal insolvency process. Argues that CSR obligations continue to be owed to wider stakeholders during insolvency.
