Abstract
- LecoS is a new spatial analysis tool to calculate landscape metrics on raster images
- LecoS is programmed in python, easily extendible and can be used in complexer models
- The user has the choice between a graphical interface within QGIS and batch processing via the QGIS processing framework
- An example study situation is demonstrated using pollinator data from Serbia
- The sourcecode in python is openly accessible and licensed under GPL v3
