Abstract
Through participatory design approaches and workshops, sensory details and creative approaches, embedded and situated within a specific locale, are uploaded and communicated via the experimental web-based platform LawDigital. Working with lawyers, NGOs, students and activists from June 2015-2017, LawDigital investigates how the use of participatory interaction techniques with sensors and other digital technologies might articulate situated imaginaries. Emile Devereaux and Radhamohini Prasad focus on Kalimpong, India in the lower Himalayas, working with the LawDigital platform to connect with Water Rights activists in Bangalore and to visualise speculative solutions. The open-source web platform is built with Ushahidi and coded by Thomas Keene.
